Well, this is it. 40 acts in total performed in front of the crowds and the judges selected by
Heat comperes Dan Nightingale & Alex Boardman. Only 8 have made it through
to the World series Final this Monday 19th October. The winner gets a weekend's paid work
at the Frog & Bucket on Oldham Street and a Cash Prize!!!

The compere for the night is Jason Cook, plus there is a headline set from
very special guest, Seymour Mace. A stalward of the Manchester circuit,
Seymour has also appeared in all the current series of Ideal alongside
Johnny Vegas. it all kicks off @ 8.15pm. Entry is free but will be offered
to those who attended the 4 heats first.
As there is no City Life Comedian of the Year for 2009, the final of the BTF
World Series should be something very special indeed and not a show to be missed!
