This weekend sees the annual Queer Up North festival take place in Manchester. Many shows and special events are taking place, including a great comedy line up!

Tonight sees Craig Hill take to the stage at the Speigeltent on Spinningfields. His show starts at 6pm and tickets are £10 or £8 for Concessions.

There are 3 more comedy shows at the Speigeltent both tomorrow and Sunday 24th May. They are...

Laughing Cows
Tomorrow 6pm - 7.15pm

The LOL! Manchester award winning all-women Laughing Cows return with a stellar line-up of come of the finest female talent in the UK with Debra-Jane Appleby, Sonya Kelly and Susan Calman.

Bourgeois and Maurice
Sun 24 May 2pm - 3.15pm

Pack up your troubles in your Prada bag and join the darlings of London’s neo-cabaret scene as theypresent a whistle-stop tour through the peculiarities of a nation on the edge, and a fabulous homage to the century we live in. Their superficial smiles might just save your life.

Part cabaret, part theatre, part irreverent self-help group, this new show covers socially vital issues such as eroto-manic stalking, clandestine body mutilation and the fatal cult of celebrity.

Scott Capurro
Sun 24 May 6pm - 7.15pm

He’s made an art form out of offence, but don’t be fooled – there’s much much more to San Franciscan comedian Scott Capurro than that. His comic technique is legendary – rapid fire stand-up doesn’t come any more rapid-fire than this. Sharply observed, merciless, brilliant – and funny, funny, funny. Definitely don’t bring your gran – but if you can take your comedy straight no chaser, this is the gig for you.

If you want to buy tickets in advance, please go to the Queer Up North website for prices and more info on the rest of the festival.
