Just received an email from our friend Victoria Cook regarding a comedy course she is running this Sunday 22nd February, so I thought i'd let you peeps know about it too! She normally does women only courses but this one is open to men too!

RIB TICKLERS COMEDY SCHOOL! SUNDAY 22ND FEBRUARY @ TRAFFORD HALL HOTEL 10:30-2:30
This event is all about putting the fun back into comedy and laughing yourself silly! The day begins at 10:30am with a laughter session - After we've broken the ice and begun to feel giggley and relaxed we move onto a comedy improvisation session, working-out your comedy muscles and creating characters and comical situations! Throughout the day we will look at and practise the core values of comedy, working with sketches, stand-up comedy, performance confidence and how to write a good gag! This event is perfect if you would like to meet new people, learn how to make others laugh or have your confidence boosted! There is no pressure to take part in any of the activities and the aim of the session is to have fun, learn about creating comedy and having a good laugh in the process!
Workshop leader Victoria Jordy Cook is a comedienne from the North East, she has worked as a comic for seven years around the UK, performing at Festivals and popular venues around Britain. She was a finalist in the Nivea Funny Women competition at the Comedy Store in London and can be found performing around the North West most evenings with her sketch troupe.
